I am looking for the origin of this Little Copper Pig Paperweight. I believe it originates from Michigan. I acquired it from my father, who acquired it from his father.

As the story goes, my father thought he remembered seeing an article in a paper once, describing it as the original of a mold that was later used by others. There are no identifying markings on it.

I have seen pictures of a paperweight by US Steel, made out of steel, that is a match of this one. I have also seen matches to this one, in Tijuana, Mexico that were made out of plastic or bone.
